Statement

Czech Rectors Conference is deeply shaken by the terrible tragedy that took place today on the grounds of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. This act is completely unprecedented in our country. With deep sorrow, we express our sincere condolences and sympathy to the families, friends and classmates of the victims and wounded, as well as to the staff and management of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. We gradually learn the circumstances and can hardly find words for such an appalling act. We are all with you in spirit.
